From the very first issue in 2007, the SAMRA Journal has had a history of exceptional editorship: Daan van Vuuren, Dion van Zyl and Schalk van Vuuren have all done us proud! We continue this proud tradition with the appointment of Duncan Brett, as the SAMRA Journal Editor.
Duncan Brett has been in the market research industry for more than 20 years and is a SAMRA Accredited Market researcher (SAR). He started his career in the industry as a research executive for Douglas Parker Associates in 1992, and then in 1994 left to form his own consultancy. In 2003, he founded The Research LampPost in Cape Town, along with three other researchers, where he remains a Director. He has a wide range of experience in taking quantitative projects from inception to completion and in recent years has gained exposure in qualitative research projects as well. He reads widely and has taken up blogging reviews and summaries of books that he has read. Duncan holds a B.Com and B.Com LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban.
