The SAMRA Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on 6 August 2015 in Johannesburg. Here are the highlights: |
THE NEW SAMRA BOARD WAS ELECTED We said goodbye to two of the SAMRA Board members at the AGM. |
 |
After many years of making a significant contribution to SAMRA, Salome Barnard, having completed her current SAMRA Board term representing large research users, resigned at the AGM. Salome served on the SAMRA Council, also as chairman in 2009/2010, and more recently the SAMRA Board, with a sincere passion for the improvement of quality in research. The SAMRA leadership will miss her, and we wish her well on her new journey! |
Mamapudi Nkgadima, who was the Incoming Chair, also resigned. Although Mamapudi did not serve her full term on the SAMRA Board, she has made a significant contribution to SAMRA and the industry, and we are grateful that we were graced with her presence on the SAMRA Board for the last year. |
