The course is targeted for qualitative practitioners with up to 5 years experience or anyone who wants to hone their skills.
The course will cover:
- Introduction to qualitative research
- Distinguishing the best uses for qualitative vs. quantitative methods
- Problems areas best suited to qualitative
- Choice of methodologies e.g. focus groups versus in-depth interviews, mini-groups, paired interviews….
- Planning and designing qualitative projects (briefing, proposal, timing, recruiting, etc.)

- Moderating
- Designing the discussion guide
- Behind the mirror
- Projective techniques
- Overview of analysis and interpretation.
